Football, events, business meetings, and surprising culinary concepts. As Head Chef of the Koning Willem II stadium, you will have a unique role where no two weeks are the same. From the excitement of a Willem II home match to a stylish dinner for hundreds of guests; you are ultimately responsible for the kitchen and, together with your team, you give flavor to every occasion. <\/p>\n\n

With Willem II’s return to the Eredivisie, there are wonderful challenges and opportunities. During match days, you are responsible for the complete culinary provision for the business lounges, skyboxes, and hospitality concepts. In addition, we host daily congresses, meetings, networking events, and functions at the stadium where quality, hospitality, and creativity are central. <\/p>\n\n

The kitchen at the Koning Willem II stadium is part of Bonheur Horeca Groep, featuring unique locations in and around Tilburg. Our mission? Enjoyment. What will you be doing?<\/h3>\n\n

As Head Chef, you are responsible for the daily management and direction of the kitchen at the Koning Willem II stadium. Together with your team, you develop surprising concepts and monitor the quality of all dishes that leave the kitchen. <\/p>\n\n

Your duties will include:<\/p>\n\n

  • Leading, coaching, developing, and working alongside the kitchen team; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Responsibility for all culinary activities surrounding Willem II home matches; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Providing innovative sandwich lunches, lunch buffets, dinners, and dinner buffets for business guests; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitoring quality, efficiency, planning, and food safety; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure events are organized to perfection; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Contributing ideas for new concepts, menus, and culinary developments; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Assisting with special events and catering assignments at other Bonheur Horeca Groep locations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Why this role is different<\/h4>\n\n

    While many chefs work primarily in the evenings and on weekends, this position offers an attractive work-life balance. A large part of our activities takes place during the day and on weekdays. As a result, working hours are more predictable than in the regular hospitality industry, leaving plenty of room for private life, family, and leisure time. Additionally, the schedule offers opportunities to be off during school holidays more often than is usual in the hospitality sector. <\/p>\n\n

    You are never alone. As Head Chef, you are part of the culinary team of Bonheur Horeca Groep. You work closely with other kitchen teams and chefs from, for example, Auberge du Bonheur and Prise d’Eau Golf. This allows you to share knowledge, gain inspiration, and support each other during large events and special assignments. Together, we ensure that our guests can count on a distinctive culinary experience at every location. <\/p>\n\n

    • Experience as a Head Chef or a Sous-Chef ready for the next step; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A passion for cooking and hospitality; <\/li>\n\n\n\n

    • Leadership and coaching skills; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong organizational skills and accustomed to maintaining an overview during peak moments; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
