It all began in 1986 on the Bredaseweg with a party center. Since then, Bonheur has grown into a leading hospitality organization in Tilburg and the surrounding area. What has remained the same throughout all those years? The focus on enjoyment, sincere attention, and creating moments that linger.

The story behind 40 years of Bonheur

Bonheur began with the vision of founder Patrick Verbunt: to create a place where people come together to enjoy themselves. What followed was not a straight line, but a development full of ideas, growth, and change.

From Auberge du Bonheur in the Oude Warande to an organization with multiple locations and concepts in and around Tilburg. Each location has its own character, but they are always connected by the same foundation: hospitality, quality, and commitment.

Today, Bonheur is a fixture in the region: rooted in Tilburg and continuously in motion.

Reunion Anniversary Menu

A grand Bonheur Reunion will take place in August 2026. A moment for (former) employees to come together. To look back, share memories, and reconnect with Bonheur.

An evening where familiar faces find each other again and stories from the past are shared once more, in the atmosphere that has always felt like home.

The summer menu is dedicated to the anniversary. Classics, favorite dishes, and new influences come together in a menu that tells the story of Bonheur.

Featuring dishes that recall earlier years, chefs who add their signature touch, and a focus on quality and authenticity.

La Route du Bonheur

To mark the 40th anniversary, the book La Route du Bonheur will be published. A collection of stories from people who have been part of the past four decades.

Not a chronological overview, but a chronicle of entrepreneurship, collaboration, and enjoyment. Featuring personal memories from employees, guests, and partners who together form the story of Bonheur.
