Vincents Tekenlokaal (Vincent’s Drawing Classroom)
In Tilburg centre you will find the Palace of King William II that was formerly used as secondary school and where Vincent van Gogh learned how to make drawings! A unique Tilburg attraction is visiting the so-called Trappist Monastery. On the edge of Tilburg lies Berkel-Enschot, where you will find Trappist Monastery De Koningshoeven, known for its Trappist beer called La Trappe. This monastery itself is still in use and that is why you cannot visit it because of the monks who are still living, working and praying there. However, those who like a lovely La Trappe can come by to have lunch and go on a beer tasting tour. Get carried away in the history on the foundation of the monastery dating back to 1884.
